Our team is working on a large-scale and near-real-time search engine that indexes over 1 billion product items and serves 4 million queries per second. We are a full-stack development team with talents doing research and development from search metrics and analysis, search science, to search backend/frontend. You will have the opportunity to work with friendly and talented team members to take the current search engine to the next-generation AI powered Search platform.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
•Develop customer-facing features.
•Work with NLP, Machine Learning experts to empower our smart shopping assistant.
•Produce highly scalable, performant and robust software components.
•Produce high quality designs to support long-term maintainability and extensibility of code.
•Produce high quality and well-documented code.

Job Requirements:
•Smart, quick learning, proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently.
•Attitude to delight customers.
•Solid knowledge about data structure and algorithms.
•Proficient in Java and JavaScript.
•Experience with UI development, etc. is a big plus.
•BS/BA or above in CS, Software Engineering or related field.
•>=4 days/week is required.
